We needed some drum cadences for julius caesar and i was unable to find any i really liked so we grabbed our orchestra drummer here at the theater and we came up with 13 different cadences for us including jfk's funeral march. Most are done on snare and then again on a single tom, easily looped for duration. They have no verb on them so you can add as you desire for your space. I was playing around with html5drummachine and discovered that i can change tempo while recording the drums, creating this amazing engine sound.

Processed improvisation on a shamanic skin drum.

A 16 bar drum loop made in ableton with no samples rendered at 44100khz and a bit depth of 24 with triangular dithering. The drum loop runs at 140 bpm and the buzz on the bass/kick drum isn't audible when layered with a track.

Just a loop that has been sliced at 53 bpm, applied a low-pass into high-pass filter and then finally gated to create a unique effect :).
